Sudarshan Venu To Lead TVS as Chairman From August 25

TVS Motor has made an important leadership change by appointing Sudarshan Venu as Chairman, effective August 25, 2025. The Board was unanimous in this decision, which recognised Venu’s extraordinary role in world brand recognition and innovation during his tenure as Managing Director in TVS motors.

Sudarshan Venu will replace Sir Ralf Speth when he steps down after the Annual General Meeting on August 22, 2025. Sir Ralf forewent reappointment as he wished to assume the role of Chief Mentor, which would be an advisory position of a strategic nature for the next three years, beginning August 23, 2025.

Venu was grateful for the opportunity and cited the company’s drive for quality, technology, and customer-centricity as the values it would uphold in the future. He acknowledged Sir Ralf’s mentorship in establishing the company globally and innovating products, and gave him all credit.
