Several industries experienced significant leadership changes last week, reflecting strategic realignments among key players.

Luxury car brand Lamborghini has named Nidhi Kaistha as the new Head of Lamborghini India. Kaistha, who previously held a senior position at Porsche India, will now oversee sales, marketing, and after-sales operations in India, a market recognized as the sixth-largest for Lamborghini in the Asia Pacific region. Her appointment reflects the brand’s increasing focus on premium customer experience and expanding market presence in India.

In the realm of digital transformation, Network18 announced the appointment of Nalin Mehta as Chief AI Officer – Editorial Operations. Already serving as the Managing Editor at Moneycontrol, Mehta’s new role will involve spearheading the development of AI-powered content systems, establishing responsible AI frameworks, and fostering collaboration across editorial, technology, product, and design teams. His leadership is expected to strengthen Network18’s digital-first strategy.

Lenskart has onboarded Sachin Gupta as its Vice President of Marketing. Gupta, who has previously worked with brands such as Astrotalk, Oziva, and MobiKwik, brings robust experience in digital and performance marketing. His appointment comes as Lenskart continues to scale both online and offline across India and international markets.

Strategic Growth Advisors (SGA) elevated Kevin Shah to the role of Managing Director from his previous position as Executive Director. Shah’s promotion underscores the consultancy’s confidence in his leadership as it seeks to expand its integrated communications and financial services portfolio.

In a major development for the pop culture space, Shefali Johnson was appointed CEO of Comic Con India, a subsidiary of Nodwin Gaming. She replaces founder Jatin Varma and will now lead the brand’s evolution. With a new leadership structure, Comic Con India aims to enhance its fan engagement and event experience across India’s growing pop culture scene.

Meanwhile, Divya Agarwal, who served as Chief Strategy Officer at Creativeland Asia, announced her departure from the agency. She had joined the company in August 2023 and also led its insights division, Crossbow. With a career spanning strategic roles at top agencies and a diverse background in behavioral sciences, Agarwal’s exit marks a pivotal change in the agency’s strategic leadership.
