
In a calculated move to improve digital transformation throughout its international operations, Tech Mahindra has named Amol Phadke its new Chief Transformation Officer. Phadke has more than 25 years of experience in the technology and telecom industries, and he is an expert in enterprise transformation, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and software networks.
Before joining Tech Mahindra, Phadke had an overview of global technology strategy, innovation initiatives, security strategy, and important ecosystem alliances as Telenor Group’s group CTO and Executive Vice President.Â
He formerly worked with Accenture, BT Group, and Alcatel-Lucent in India, the US, the UK, and Singapore. He has held leadership positions at Google Cloud as the Global GM for the Communications Service Provider Industry Vertical.
Phadke has a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from the University of Mumbai, a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from USC (University of Southern California), and an Executive MBA fromU niversity of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also a founding partner of an international angel investment firm that focuses on technology.
This announcement comes after Tech Mahindra made other significant leadership changes, such as Sahil Dhawan becoming the Head of India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) Business and Manish Mangal becoming the Head of Communications Business.Â
