Suraj Promoted as Managing Director at Axis Capital

Suraj Krishnaswamy has been elevated as Managing Director and Member of the Management Committee at Axis Capital Ltd.,. He extensively contributed to his leadership in the Indian capital markets. 

Suraj has been at Axis Capital for almost 13 years and has played a crucial role in driving high-impact equity capital market transactions across Infrastructure, Telecom Media Technology (TMT) and other conglomerates.

Suraj Krishnaswamy led multiple landmark transactions, including the ₹180,000 million FPO (Follow-on Public Offer) of Vodafone Idea and the ₹42,750 million IPO (Initial Public Offering) of Bharti Hexacom. Suraj also served as interim head of ECM, showcasing his versatility in handling leadership transactions while maintaining execution excellence.

Suraj Krishnaswamy’s professional journey before Axis Capital includes ENAM, Infosys and a summer analyst stint at J.P. Morgan, where he gained experience. He has done an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and did his graduation from PSG College of Technology.
