Bajaj Consumer Names Naveen as New Managing Director

On July 1, 2025, Mr Naveen Pandey will take over the Managing Director position of Bajaj Consumer Care for five years. Mr Pandey will take over from Mr Jaideep Nandi, the current managing director, whose tenure ends on June 30 after serving the company for five years. The change comes after approval was granted at a board meeting on June 24. At the same time, Mr. Aakash Gupta has been appointed Head-Finance, starting on July 1, assuming Mr Richard D’Souza’s position before his resignation on July 7 for other opportunities.

Mr Pandey, a proven executive with almost 20 years of strategic planning and innovation experience within the personal care industry, is expected to add vital energy to Bajaj Consumer‘s growth plans. The board believes he is the right person to lead transformation and growth.

While Mr. Gupta, an IIM Indore alumnus and chartered accountant, is equipped with financing experience that complements his new role, his extensive treasury and financial planning background make him a strong CFO.

The board also approved changes to its Employee Stock Unit Plan to align with updated organisational goals. As Bajaj Consumer begins its next chapter, its investors will continue to monitor how the new leadership will continue to drive performance and impetus for innovation.
