
Peloton has appointed Megan Imbres to its leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer. Francis Shanahan, the company’s Senior Vice President of Connected Software, has also been appointed as Chief Technology Officer.
Megan Imbres will join the company by 7 July and will look after global brand and product marketing. She has more than 20 years of experience with direct-to-consumer brands, including expertise in brand development and creative strategy.
Megan recently served as Managing Director of Apple Marcom LA. She managed the company’s creative campaigns and delivered tentpole cultural moments like Apple TV’s partnership with Major League Soccer or the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.
She has also worked for Netflix, helping to build the brand and streaming category before later establishing the Netflix originals brand.
CEO Peter Stern said, “Megan’s experience in growing the direct-to-consumer subscription business, her creative instincts, and her track record of delivering culturally resonant campaigns will propel us on our path towards growth.”

On the other hand, Francis Shanahan has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer. He will report directly to Chief Product Officer Nick Caldwell. Francis will lead Peloton’s engineering and technical teams and ensure its systems are high-performing.
Since joining in March 2021, Francis has led Peloton’s engineering team, delivering intuitive product experiences and helping content reach 6 million members across multiple hardware devices.
Nick Caldwell (Peloton’s Chief Product Officer) said, “Francis has been an instrumental partner in our product organisation and understands the important role AI plays in our connected fitness ecosystem”.
Now, Peloton might see immense growth in its company with the appointment of both a talented CMO and CTO who can contribute significantly to the organisation.
