
Recently, Unissant Inc., during its corporate restructuring, announced the new Chief People Officer and Senior Vice-President, Laila Salguero, to improve the employee experience and accelerate growth.
According to the Manila Times, Laila will be responsible for expanding Unissant’s corporate culture initiatives and ensuring its people’s priorities align with its ambitious growth plans.Â
The new agency further mentioned that she has a decade-long experience dealing with employee relations, employee and team development, talent attraction and retention, change management, conflict resolution, and employment law and compliance.Â

Moreover, she served as Vice President of Human Resources and previously as Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at Peraton. She has also held HR leadership positions at CGI and Booz Allen.
Laila’s commitment to workforce development and employee engagement extends beyond her professional role. She is a Council Member of GO Virginia, Region 7, supporting regional economic and workforce development initiatives.

In 2024, she was selected for the Lead Virginia cohort, which unites corporate and civic leaders across the Commonwealth. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for Fairfax Futures, a non-profit that promotes quality early childhood education and school readiness in Fairfax County.
