
In the latest turn of events, Ivan Espinosa, the chief planning officer, is appointed by the board as the new CEO, executive officer, and president of Nissan, succeeding Makoto Uchida. According to the BIZ COMMUNITY, he will take charge from April 1.
Guillaume Cartier, currently chief performance officer and chairperson of the Management Committee for AMIEO, will take on an expanded role that includes global marketing and customer experience.

Eiichi Akashi, presently corporate vice president (CVP) of the Vehicle Planning and Vehicle Component Engineering Division, will step into the role of chief technology officer and executive officer, succeeding Kunio Nakaguro.
Teiji Hirata, CVP of the Vehicle Production Engineering and Development Division, will assume the position of chief monozukuri officer and executive officer, overseeing Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, replacing Hideyuki Sakamoto.
Jeremie Papin, chief financial officer, has also been appointed executive officer.
However, the following people retained their positions in the organisation: Stephen Ma, chairperson of the Management Committee for China; Mitsuro Antoku, chief quality officer; and Toru Ihara, chief HR officer.
