
In the latest turn of events, Jim (James) Kimbel is appointed as the new chief financial officer of Footprint, a global materials science and technology company focused on creating a better tomorrow.

Kimbel, with his extensive experience working in high-growth startups, Fortune 100 companies, and vision-driven companies. Moreover, Kimbel directed his financial teams through intricate restructuring initiatives and executed over $70 billion in M&A and licensing deals. He led multi-billion-dollar financial strategies across sustainable consumer goods, investment management, and automotive technology sectors.

As a part of his new role, he is responsible for managing the company’s financial strategy and IT operations, reporting directly to Footprint’s CEO, Corey Berends.Â
